摘要
The first world war had a negative impact on the economy of the cities of Kursk province. From the first moment of the beginning of military mobilization all the normal life of the city Department of local cities stopped. The war has interfered with the normal life of cities, the inhabitants of which had to do is not peculiar Affairs: equipment barracks, mobilization, survey of families called. On all these measures of money from the cities were not, so they had to take them on loan from private and state banks under considerable interest. The funds were allocated a very small size, and even then only on the most urgent activities. The war hurt the construction and improvement of cities, it adversely affected the work of banks, decreased production, a reduction in trade. During the war worsened the food situation of the country. Increased urban population, and especially the army showed a great demand for food. The country began to feel the lack of food, the price of food began to rise.
