摘要
Using forward error correction, a remotely pumped postamplifier and a remotely pumped preamplifier, error-free unrepeatered transmission on nondispersion shifted fibre is demonstrated over record distances of 481km at 2.5 Gbit/s and 501km at 622Mbit/s.
