摘要：

This paper outlines a high level generic design for an ISDN Programming Communications Interface (PCI) for EuroISDN. The PCI which is an Application Programming Interface (API), is specified in an ETSI draft standard. The paper shows how such an API could be designed to work over any manufacturer's existing ISDN-API by additions to the PCI architecture proposed in the draft standard.
