FLUORESCENCE-SPECTRA OF EU3+ IONS IN DUAL LANTHANIDE OXYHALIDE POWDER PHOSPHORS

摘要：
This paper describes the fluorescence properties of a new series of powder phosphors with the EU(3+) ion in the host chemicals (La,Gd)OF, (La,Gd)OCl, (La,Y)OF and (La,Y)OCl. Under a UV lamp, these phosphors are found to display a bright reddish-orange colour. The measured emission transitions have been characterized by determining their stimulated emission cross sections.
