摘要
A generalisation of thermoelasticity is proposed which arises from a physically motivated modification of Fourier's law of heat conduction. Constitutive equations are postulated which are valid for finite deformations and temperature variations and these are reduced to canonical form by the usual techniques of non-linear continuum mechanics. Some exact solutions are given to illustrate novel features of the non-linear theory. © 1969.
