ACTINOMYCES IN TERRESTRIAL ECOSYSTEMS

Regularities in organization of actinomyces complexes in terrestrial ecosystems are considered: specifity of soil actinomyces complexes for biogeocenoses, vertical differentiation and combination of continuity/discontinuity in actinomyces distribution; correlation between actinomyces place in biogeocenoses, their functions and ecological strategy. These regularities confirm, at the level of mycelial prokaryotes, those which are known for microbial complexes in general. Relations between actinomyces and other organisms are discussed. Natural <<locuses>>, in which actinomyces exist in active life form, are algae spreads on carbonate rocks and invertebrate guts.
