摘要：

The experiments described show that it is important whether lime, soda ash or sodium hydroxide is chosen to adjust the pH value in a soft water. Results are shown from filtrations of iron and manganese in a soft groundwater after addition of different amounts of soda ash and sodium hydroxide at different pH values. The experiments concerned filtration of iron during and after oxidation and filtration of manganese during oxidation.
