摘要
Atheism accusation was a frequent event in ancient Greek philosophy. The idea of view moved on to natural philosophy leaving mythical thought behind, so it was desired to be based on nature rationally. From this moment on, the thoughts of the philosophers were also addressed atheism accusations. Irreligiousness accusations involve criticizing the Greek Gods. Physics or theological reasons that we encounter in nature research were on the basis of criticism. As, criticizing the mythical gods was considered as a criminal offense, Philosophers such as Protagoras, Socrates, and Aristotle and so on were accused of atheism and were punished by law. The Greco-Persian and the Athenian-Spartan wars brought social and economic unrest and this led to the dissociations in the society. Growing social and political events is notable as the most fundamental phenomena in the background of atheism accusation.
