摘要
The reactivity of metal carbonyl complexes is surveyed. The effect of charge, electron count, row and electronic configuration of the metal are examined for mononuclear carbonyls and more limited information is examined for metal clusters. Ligand effects are also examined for the metal carbonyls. The reactivity of metal carbonyl complexes changes by at least 15 orders of magnitude. This paper provides a framework for understanding such a range of reactivity. © 1990.
