摘要：

The author considers modern problems of security in Wider Europe in the light of globalization. The author's premise consists in asserting that the processes of globalization and regionalization are far from being antipodes. On the contrary, the two processes are of the same nature since both of them create a network of interdependencies and communication between the subjects and objects participating to these two processes. As to today's problems of security in Wider Europe, the author tackles the existing concepts of Europe's geopolitical limits, the perceptions of regional security threats in Europe and functional problems of European security institutional structure.
