摘要
Several florescein angiograms are presented to demonstrate the different components of normal choroidal fluorescence and the relationship between choroidal vascular changes and changes in the angiographic picture. An area of malfunctioning choriocapillaris is demonstrated angiographically by a delay in the appearance of fluorescein. Fluorescein appears to diffuse from the normal capillaries at the margin of the lesion into the central area where it persists for a long time after it has disappeared from the normal choroid. It seems that fluorescein angiography will be helpful in studying diseases of the choroidal circulation just as it has been in investigating abnormalities of the retinal circulation. © 1969.
