摘要
By using a glass lens to form a crevice on stainless steel in acid chloride/sulphate solutions, the electrochemical reactions associated with a naturally growing crevice including hydrogen production and metal dissolution can be observed directly. These observations provide direct evidence of the potential distribution in crevices which can be related to polarization diagrams.
