摘要
A critical feminist autoethnography is used to illuminate the struggles associated with the elective abortion decision and offer insight into, and understanding and knowledge of the physical and emotional experience of the procedure, as well as the institutions associated with abortion. Framing the abortion experience in this way qualitatively synthesizes feminist perspectives, symbolic interactionism, and narrative to create a combined theoretical, analytical, and methodological approach.
