摘要
The arching effect of core-wall of ShuangJiangkou earth-rockfill dam of three different design schemes is analyzed by using three-dimensional finite element method. The effects of Poisson's ratio, Young's modulus of core and shell on arching effect are studied. The arching effect coefficient that can reflect the core arching effect is defined; and it is used to investigate the arching effect coefficients of different zones of the dam. The results indicate that the core-wall arching effects of the three schemes are similar; and the arching effect is stronger at the abutments, three quarter of the dam and core wall bottom.
