摘要
This review focuses on transversus abdominis plane (TAP) block. TAP block is a regional anaesthetic technique used to provide post-operative analgesia for patients undergoing abdominal operations. This review describes the anatomy (including sonoanatomy) of the anterior abdominal wall, types of TAP block, indications, contraindications, and the evidence in support of this block.
