摘要
The electropolymerization of 3-methoxythiophene leads to polymers with very short chain lengths, because the reactive 2-positions of the molecules will be blokked by covalent bonds during the first steps of the polymerization. By contrast the electropolymerization of 4,4'-dimethoxybithiophene leads to a polymeric material with longer chains and a very high electrochemical stability. In the UV/VIS-spectrum the charged polymer shows no absorption maximum in the visisble range.
