摘要：

Hypselosoma acantheen n. sp., the first dipsocoroid bug recorded from New Zealand, is described. Supplementary descriptive notes and errata are given for its nearest relative, H. hickmani Wygodzinsky from Tasmania. The occurrence of the genus in Sulawesi is noted.
