摘要
Previous observations of the X-ray binary 4U 0115 + 63 suggest that it is a steady emitter of TeV gamma-rays pulsed at the 3.6 s neutron star period. We have analyzed 60 nights of data taken with the Whipple Observatory Imaging Gamma-Ray Telescope over a 4 yr period. No evidence is found for a TeV signal from this X-ray pulsar, and the derived upper limit of 1 x 10(-11) (cm2 s)-1 for gamma-rays with energies greater than 0.7 TeV is well below previously reported fluxes.
