THEORETICAL DESCRIPTION OF THE MAGNETIC-MOMENTS OF THE 2(G)(+) STATE FOR SM-150, SM-152, AND SM-154

摘要
In previous publications, we reported a boson-expansion formalism based on the random-phase approximation which is a form amenable to practical calculations. In the present paper, we apply the theory to Sm-150, Sm-152, and Sm-154. Thus, we calculate the energies, quadrupole moments, and B(E2) values of low-lying collective states of Sm-150,Sm-152, and Sm-154. The results are seen to be in good agreement with experiments. Also, we calculate the magnetic moments mu(2(g)(+)) for these isotopes. The calculated values seem to follow the experimental trend although they are a little lower than the experimental values.
