摘要
Amplitude companding (the compression of a signal on the transmission side and expansion of the signal on the receiving side) is used in a variety of communications systems to improve the noise immunity of audio signal transmission. However, no method of calculating the efficiency of amplitude companders designed to process high fidelity audio programs has yet been developed. This paper proposes a version of such a method.
