摘要
Fiber-optic subcarrier multiplexing transmission has attracted renewed attention in recent years. This paper proposes a new subcarrier multiplexing video signal transport scheme employing multilevel QAM and discusses its technical feasibility. Some advantageous features of the proposed scheme are introduced, and the technical design considerations for implementation are presented. The estimation regarding transport capability and performance achieved by employing commercially available components is also reported. © 1990 IEEE
