Cartography of hydroestrategies in brazilian Amazon

We propose an initial reflection on large dams projects in the Brazilian Amazon, whose argument conserns in the understanding that the region is seen as an energetic potentiality. In this perspective, cartographic reading operates through the concept of spatiality, in which the territorial dimensions for the use of capital are articulated, while social practices and knowledge are "removed" from the places. When considering the transformations in the region, we intend to highlight the validator terms that come to subsidize legal arguments for the construction of hydroelectric power plants in the Amazon. As a methodological procedure, bibliographical research, field work and cartographic systematization were used. As a synthesis, we present two maps that indicate the buoyers of the geography of the dams, qualified as hidrostrategie's cartography.
