摘要
By supplementing the multi-Regge model with the assumption that the structure of nonresonant low-mass clusters is governed only by phase space, we have constructed a phenomenological model for production processess which allows us to calculate single-particle distributions for varying multiplicity and energy. We have applied the model to analyse data from a) π+p→p+(n-1)π and b) K-p→Λ+(n-1)π, at multiplicities n ranging from three to nine, and at energies ranging from 5 to 16 GeV/c. Good qualitative agreement with experiment is obtained for the distributions of both baryons and pions in i) cos θ*, ii)p L *, iii)p T. The model is, at least in the cases examined, particularly successful in describing the interesting ways in which the distributions vary with respect to the multiplicity, the incoming energy, and the quantum numbers of the final particles. © 1968 Società Italiana di Fisica.
