摘要
A theory of topographic Rossby waves of sinoptic scale is developed for the two-layered ocean model with gomogeneous upper and continiously stratified lower layers over the flat in the average anisotropic bottom relief. It is established that the current velocities of such movements encrease with encreasing the depth and the movements can cause bottom storms as the analogous movements over an inclined ocean bottom. The developed theory gives the possibility to evaluate the scales of variability of time and space for the bottom seismic noises caused by the topographic Rossby waves because the essential influence of bottom currents to the noises of bottom seismomerters.
