摘要
In the article the word is regarded as a sensual imagery form of mental phenomena, the ability to cause in mind a mental image of an object or situation, subjective phenomenon resulting from the subject-practical, sensory-perceptual, and mental activity; the scheme of foreign word presentation is given, the role of word imagery in foreign language learning is described.
