INCLUSION COMPOUND OF THIOUREA WITH AMINES

The inclusion of some heterocyclic amines in thiourea leads to following host-guest compounds: bis(thiourea)-hexamethylenetetramine), hexaquis(thiourea)-(dicyclohexilamine), tris(thiourea)-(1-bicyclo[2,2,2]octane), tris(thiourea)-(N-methylcyclohexilamine), pentaquis(thiourea)-bis(3-azabicyclo[3,2,2]nonane). Characterization of the products by melting point determination, elemental analysis, IR. H-1-NMR and mass spectroscopy confirm the inclusion process. Powder X-ray diffraction analysis indicates the products are crystalline compounds in the rhombohedral space group R3c.
