摘要
The concept of heterozygosity was examined within the context of Annett's model. New data were presented which lend additional support for her examination on shifts in manual and cerebral speech laterality after brain trauma, and broadens her interpretation to encompass lateral shifts in normal heterozygotic individuals. The heterozygote, in the absense of brain trauma, may also be susceptible, because of an unstable genotype, to incomplete lateralization with consequent disturbances in motor and language development. © 1969.
