摘要：

In the title compound, C17H15BrO3S, the 4-bromophenyl ring makes a dihedral angle of 76.58 (9)degrees with the mean plane [r.m.s. deviation = 0.006 (2) A degrees] of the benzofuran fragment. In the crystal, molecules are linked by weak C-H center dot center dot center dot O and C-H center dot center dot center dot pi interactions.
