摘要
A study is made of the electric charging of a symmetric charged thin airfoil having good conductivity. The source of the charge consists of conducting solid particles. The airfoil is in a gas flow. If the inertia of the particles is low, the charging is expressed through a normal elliptic second-order Legendre function. The problem is solved numerically if the inertia of the particles is sufficiently great. However, analytical results can be used within a fairly broad range of Stokes numbers. The introduction of a parameter which characterizes the particle recharging process makes it possible to more realistically describe the charging of the airfoil or the characteristics of an electric probe.
