Experiments on combustion dynamics of water-fuel foams in tubes showed that foams filled with hydrogen-air mixtures burn at steady-state. Two types of transients appear in the combustion of foams with methane-air mixtures. The transients are shown to result when acoustic vibrations that accompany combustion interact with the foam and directly with the flames.
