The modern methodological approaches of French historiography in studying of the history of Kazakhstan

The processes in the modern French historical science devoted to the study of the history of Central Asian region are described in this article. The article deals with the understanding of the original theoretical and methodological approaches in the historical study of the region. The author pays attention to the modern changes. After giving up the standard-stereotyped cliches of the Soviet period the author writes about new tendencies and approaches in the systematic study of the history of Central Asian region.
