摘要
Impulse response of a hammer mill was measured using a radioactive tracer. This response may be expressed theoretically as a convolution of milling chamber impulse response and impulse response of the space behind the screen. The comminution process of cereal grain has been described by a simplified model in this work. Simple models of material movements behind the screen were also used for derivation of an analytical form of the second response component. Methods of non-linear regression analysis were applied for the calculation of parameters of the resulting theoretical function. These parameters afford information on all processes involved.
