摘要
An extended discussion is presented of the absolute absorption area method (AAAM) for measuring the Debye-Waller factor f of Mossbauer isotopes, the line widths of which are much greater than that of Fe-57. The problems arising from the determination of the absorption area and of the baseline are thoroughly examined by means of a theoretical analysis of the shape of the absorption spectrum. The (151)EU in EBCO is used to illustrate the proposed method.
