摘要
The notion of document until the early twentieth century, were mainly associated with material in which the records were set for information. However, after this period, a change of perspective in the way of seeing the document, Redocumentation, who emphasized the role of the document as a key to cultural mediation. However, beyond that sociocultural bias arises in this context of social and technological changes, the notion of digital document. This concept, although its spread has brought some terminological confusion, as the fact of being overestimated over the "conventional document" or even considered as a synonym for hypertext document. Considering these ambiguities and in order to understand the nature of the digital document is an analysis of terminological definition. For this we used two approaches: first was the literature review, aiming to reclaim the context of origin and emergence of the digital document, and a second moment was applied research, using the techniques of terminological analysis, with use of terminological aid of concept maps. Finally, it was concluded that despite the dynamic and fluid nature of the digital document, it is only a modality of the concept document, which in the digital environment does not weaken, rather confirms it.
