摘要：

Systemic infection due to Pasteurella multocida mostly occurs in immunocompromised patients. Evolution is often fatal in spite of relevant antibiotherapy. Secondary pleural and pulmonary infections are frequently associated with septicemia. We report here a case of sepsis after animal scratch in a cirrhotic woman. The evolution was favourable with beta-lactams and aminoglycosides therapy.
