A NOTE ON LOW-ENERGY RECOILS IN COLLISIONAL MIXING

摘要
We study the role of low-energy recoils on the broadening of thin markers due to collisional mixing and the sensitivity of the results to the parameters in the calculations. Mixing rate is expressed using the moments of relocation cross sections. These in turn are expressed in terms of the moments of recoil ranges. Broadening turns out to be insensitive to low-energy collisional processes.
