INFRARED-SPECTRA OF WEAK HYDROGEN-BONDED COMPLEXES IN CRYOGENIC SOLUTIONS

摘要
The IR band shapes of H-bonded complexes B...HA formed by HF, HCI, HBr, RCCH, HCN, H2S and H2Se and their deuterated derivatives as proton donors, and with B = N2, CO, COCl2, C2N2, CH3Hal, H2S, C2H2, C2H4, C3H6, C2H8, HCN, CH3CN, (CH3)2O and (CH3)3N as proton acceptors have been studied in dilute solutions in liquefied argon, krypton and xenon at T = 90-250K. It is shown that the band structure characteristic of the complex in cryogenic solution is due to anharmonic interaction between the nu(AH) and low-frequency modes of the complex. The observed nu(AH) band shape in cryogenic solution is compared with the available gas-phase data.
