摘要
To solve boundary value problems in ℝ2 numerically one may use the representation of its solution by means of double layer potentials resp. the 3rd Green's formula. The resulting integral equations of the second kind are treated by discretization. In this note we establish existence and uniqueness of the numerical solution for convex domains and derive the order of convergence for the Dirichlet-problem if the domain is strictly convex and has a smooth boundary. © 1979 Springer-Verlag.
