摘要
A study was conducted to estimate the subjectively perceived level of an individual's own vocalization as a sound pressure level, using an artificial ear. The participants in the study were required to vocalize toward some distances to assume a typical communication scene. Ten normal speaking adults aged between 23-46 years participated in the study to conduct the required investigations. All participants reported having normal hearing without any record of neurological injury or disease or vocal pathology. Each participant was tested while seated on a chair in a soundproof room and each of their voice was recorded through a microphone. voice was recorded through a microphone a sound-level meter with a microphone-to-mouth distance of 40 cm, set in front of the participant 40 degrees to the left. Each participant was first instructed to say 'ohayo' three times in a normal manner after practice and the sound pressure level was measured for each vocalization.
