The electrosurface properties and aggregation stability of aqueous dispersions of TiO2 and ZrO2 were studied in a wide range of pH and concentrations of electrolyte (KCI). It was shown that the degree of ionization (a) of ionogenic groups at the point of zero charge (PZC) is related to the aggregation stability of aqueous dispersions of oxides at this point.
