摘要：

An experimental research of accuracy and quickness of an identification of the photographic image of a person on the basis of presentation of one of its parts (eyes, a nose, a mouth) is reported. The results have confirmed a hypothesis that the most informative and expressive part of the face in terms of its effective recognition (accuracy and speed) is the eyes area. During the experimental study it was also shown that the process of learning does not diminish the preference of the eyes area, and a significant impact of learning on the speed of face identification was found only in the first two of five of the experiments conducted.
