COPING STRATEGIES TO WORK STRESS IN BASIC EDUCATION TEACHERS

摘要
This research aims to: Determine the strategies of coping with stress using more and less frequently teachers at the primary level and establish the relationship between the frequency of use of coping strategies to stress in teachers and their maximum level studies, gender and salary level. To achieve these objectives a non-experimental study was developed through the application of Coping Strategies Inventory Teacher Stress to 95 basic education teachers. The main results indicate that the coping strategies used most often are "seeking alternatives to solve the situations that stress me" and "think positively": Likewise, the variables gender and highest level of study make a difference in the use that seven six coping strategies are used respectively.
