摘要
Based on the prophecy by the prophet Jeremiah, of why there is no peace for the Jewish people, this paper discusses the righteous relationship between the self and God in the Bible from two aspects. These aspects are the fall of humanity and reconciliation. It is suggested that if there is no righteous relationship between humanity and God, there will be no righteous relationship between the human and the self. This results in some distortion of human relationships, as well as in no peace in human hearts and the world. This conclusion composes the presupposition of the biblical concept of peace.
