摘要：

Dissolved oxygen content of coastal waters along the southwest coast of India between Cape Comorin and Ratnagiri was studied along 6 sections for 8 years. Vertical time sections were used to compare variations noticed in the vertical oscillation of oxygen minimum layer in space and time. Isoline of maximum vertical oscillation, net vertical movement of oxygen minimum layer and areas of possible upwelling activity were also delineated.
