MOBILE APPLICATIONS (APPS): LEGAL PROTECTION FROM THE FIELD OF INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

This article will take as reference or starting point the context that the so-called "Orange Economy" gives us currently in the Colombian reality. This creative economy has allowed ideas, innovation and entrepreneurship to materialize in benefits, goods and services that are reflected in the different activities carried out by the human being in areas of his daily life, such as culture, design, advertising, architecture, music, cinema, being the most prominent in the modern era, technology. Mentioned technology specifically applied to mobile devices, through its logical and intangible part such as the so-called Apps or mobile applications, will be the central axis of this document, where it will tend for its study from the point of view of the Colombian legal system and the supranational Andean regulations that protect such creations and the goods and services that derive from them.
