摘要
The synthesis and e.p.r. spectra of some bis(thiosemicarbazonato)copper(II) complexes in the polycrystalline state have been described. For the complexes derived from thiosemicarbazones of acetophenone and propiophenone, the spectra are typical of triplet state molecules arising from monomers associating to form dimers which exhibit spin-spin interaction. The zero field splitting parameters have been calculated in these cases. For other complexes, those derived from the thiosemicarbazones of acetone, benzyl methyl ketone, cyclohexanone and diethyl ketone, the spin-spin interactions are not strong, and the resulting e.p.r. features are similar to monomeric copper(II).
