摘要
The fluctuation theory of critical velocities of superflow near the lambda point is reconsidered. It is shown that oscillations of vortex rings (Jordanskii's entropy term) are essential in reducing the large energy barrier for vortex nucleation. As a result better agreement between theoretical and experimental critical velocities is obtained. © 1979.
