摘要
Migration of radioisotopes infracture angle formations is studied through numerical solutions of the conventional advection-diffusion equation and a new transport equation (Williams [1992a, b, c]). First, through comparison with known analytical solutions of the diffusion equation, it is established that the numerical technique is capable of providing excellent results. Next, the dependence of the transport results on fracture distribution is studied, and it is shown that diffusion models cannot predict the transport results in all cases.
