The Spreading of Christianity amongst the plural Ethnic and Religious Ecological Context in Qinghai during the Late Modern Period

Qinghai is a co-existing example of plural religions in multi-ethnic China. All kinds of religious temples, churches and mosques can be found around, and almost every person among Zang, Hui. Tu, Sala and Mongolia ethnic groups believe in their religions. In such a pluralistic ethnic and religious context, the location and spreading trend of modern Christianity in this region have been closely connected with the spreading and development of Christianity in the late modern period. To study how Christianity has exchanged, adapted and mutually reacted with the ethnic groups, religions and cultures in Qinghai area, is an important perspective to observe the development of Christianity in late modern China.
