摘要：
Some evidence is discussed that favours the model of high T(c) superconductors which envisages that the carriers, holes in an oxygen 2p band, form bipolarons (bosons), and that T(c) is the temperature at which the boson gas becomes non-degenerate. Special attention is given to the effects of disorder, which can change the mechanism of diffusive motion. A comparison is given with the properties of the cubic bismuth oxides.
